You are in the oldest part of town, close to the Bishopric gardens and shopping streets full of shops and delicatessens. Halfway between the "authentic Chartres" and the Lower Town, you can just as easily reach in a few steps the quiet borders of Little Venice where the Eure river flows silently. Why not do some shopping in the best pastry shop in town near the apartment and then picnic under a maple tree while listening to the water singing...
